Ethic charter

The partners do work as members of the European scientific community in an equidistant way to universitary and commercial research inviting all facilities in the transport sector to join. Special attention is given to give all facilities the same chances.

Every facility which fulfils the requirements i.e. unique services and/or large facility in the transport sector is been shown. There are no fees for the facilities to be shown during the whole EU-funded project (till end of 2004). The business model for 2005 has not been fixed. To assure quality a committee has been set up which looks at the quality of the entries. For each category experts from this domain have been chosen. Facilities will be informed about the problems we see and asked for changes. Those entries may be disabled temporarily in order to guarantee a sound presentation of the portal.

The sorting of the facilities according to its rank is optional and the ranking does work on a pure technical basis, there is no possibility to pay for a higher ranking. The ranking is done according to the number of visits of the facility page. All possible precautions are made for preventing misuse of this mechanism.
